About the person behind the scenes…

At the core of vinylandvintageGR is community. —bringing people together to celebrate creativity , support local vendors, and create a space where everyone feels welcome.

What started as a simple idea has grown into something meaningful : a place to connect, collaborate, and build each other up.

Hi, I’m Whitney

—the heart behind vinylandvintageGR and the storyteller behind the scenes. When I’m not curating events or connecting with our amazing community, you’ll usually find me behind a camera, designing graphics, or building brands for people in my community.

My roots are in marketing, photography, graphic design, and event planning. It all started with a yoga website for my cousin, and soon I was helping with marketing products for the launch of the first medical dispensary in Byron Center. I didn’t set out to be a freelancer—but I saw how hard my friends and fellow creators were working, and I deeply wanted them to succeed. So I stepped in, helping them find their voice, tell their stories, and shine in the spotlight they always deserved.

From vinyl records and vintage gems to homemade goods and local talent, I’ve always believed in the power of creativity to bring people together. vinylandvintageGR isn’t just about events—it’s a space for connection, collaboration, and community growth.

Thanks for being part of this journey. Let’s build something beautiful—together.

WHAT OUR PARTNERS ARE SAYING…

"The fact that there were so many unique vendors from the community that all came together to make the space transform into a cozy haven was amazing. Whitney was great at organizing this."

"Great vendors and food and who doesn't love a raffle?"
